We simplify compliance for digital product passports.

FormulaPass was created to give cosmetics brands product data that is organised, verifiable and ready to publish. Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 already imposes precise obligations today — CPNP notification, Responsible Person, product information file, ingredient nomenclature on the label — while the Digital Product Passport will arrive with the ESPR delegated acts, which have not yet been extended to cosmetics. In between lies the everyday work of regulatory and quality teams: re-entering by hand information that already exists in technical data sheets and PIFs, with the risk of errors and delays to market entry.

Our approach is compliance-first, AI-assisted, human-verified: we use artificial intelligence to extract and propose data from the documents the company already holds, but no information is published without a person's explicit confirmation. FormulaPass does not notify the CPNP, does not draft the product information file and does not certify a product's compliance: those remain the responsibility of the company and its Responsible Person. What we do is put the data in order and make it publishable in a traceable way.
